The P0108 code stands for āManifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure High.ā Itās logged when the ECM receives a signal from the MAP/BARO sensor circuit thatās above the normal range. Some possible causes of this trouble code include a bad MAP/Baro sensor, MAP/Baro wiring or circuit issues, and a clogged catalytic converter.
Basicly when it comes to jeep evap the whole system is junk and is very proan to having leaks and failures. This is the case with most chrysler evap stuff. at least the xj is one of the easier systems to diagnosis.

Up inside the frame rail on the driver's side next to the exhaust there. are four metal tubes that follow the frame rail. There are two rubber hoses.
My 2003 had a fault light come on and the code was the p0442. A new Stant gas cap from the local auto parts store fixed it. Just change it to eliminate the cap as a problem for something like $13.00.

Follow these two evap solenoid hoses under the body and inspect along the way: look for cracks near the connection points: I found these two hoses were cracked at this connection which was directly under the driver side floor board.

We are having same issues with a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited we purchased a couple months ago. The only difference is it's not at any RPM exactly but it's at the higher speed of 55+MPH.
